Directions to view our web page & contact Miss Tedeschi:
The majority of our communication, schedule reminders and events will be found via our class web page and other Holy Rosary school memos. You can read about special news & happenings in our classroom, curriculum, special projects and upcoming events by going to: www.holyrosaryschoolbronx.org and visiting my class page. You can also e-mail me directly at [email protected] or you may call Holy Rosary School directly at (718) 652-1838 during school hours. Also, please make sure you sign up with the office to receive weekly updates from Mrs. Fusco.
PLEASE BRING IN THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:
Change of clothes: Please send in an extra set of clothes, including socks and a extra mask, to keep at school in case of an emergency. Please send clothing in a large Ziploc bag, with their name on the outside of the bag. If your child does need to be changed, please make sure their extra clothing gets replaced by their next school day. Also, please make sure you have your child’s name on all extra clothes they bring to school. This includes jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts.
Photos: Please send in TWO photos as soon as possible: One of just your child and one family photo. These comforting photos will be used in your child’s cubby and in our classroom.
Regular-sized backpack: We send home nap time sheets and blankets each week to be washed and returned. A two-pocket folder is also suggested for us to send home letters, projects and activity worksheets. Your child’s backpack should be big enough to hold these items.
Lunch Form: Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided in school. Each child must have a lunch form on file so please fill it out and return it ASAP.
Lunchbox: If your child will not be eating the school lunch and will bring in his/her own lunch box, please make sure his/her name is written on the lunchbox. We kindly ask that you do not pack anything with peanuts. We are unable to heat up food sent from home.
Supplies: Although supplies are not mandatory, they are very helpful and will go a long way in our classroom. We appreciate your willingness to help! Please send in any of the following items if you wish to do so:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Sheets & blankets: Each child will be supplied with their own sheet and blanket to use during nap time for the school year. The sheets and blankets will be sent home every Friday. We kindly ask that you wash them and send them back in your child’s backpack on Monday. No sheets from home are permitted at this time.
Arrivals/Dismissal: If on any given day someone new will be picking your child up from school, please send it in writing in your child’s backpack, or send me an e-mail so we are aware. If we do not have this in writing, the child may not be dismissed. This person must also show photo ID in order for us to dismiss your child to them. Dismissal will usually be in the school yard, however, on rainy or cold days and all half days, dismissal will take place in the gym.
**Please look for the yellow door at the far right corner of the school yard**
This is where you will be dropping off and picking up your children. Arrivals are 7:45am and pick up is 2:15pm.
Other Notes:
*If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), please send in a copy for me to review.
*Please speak to me if your child has an asthma inhaler, EpiPen or any other special health needs. We will arrange what we need to have in our school nurse’s office.
*Please return all orientation paperwork by Monday, September 13.
Parents are a very important part of the 3K classroom! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at any time.
Thank you and I look forward to a wonderful year ahead!
Miss Rose

Your child's teacher may encourage you to bring along a comfort item from home. A stuffed animal, favorite doll, a special blanket or even a family picture may help your child feel connected to home and family while at school.
